Professional Experience
I'm a medical writer with a PhD in biomedical engineering from the University of Chicago and postdoctoral training in immunology from Harvard Medical School. My academic background spans immunology, oncology, and chronic disease, and these are the therapeutic areas I've continued to work across throughout my freelance career.
I produce patient education materials, clinical content, and scientific communications that balance scientific accuracy with plain-language accessibility. My scientific publication record includes over 12 peer-reviewed research manuscripts with over 100 citations, and I bring that same manuscript-level rigor to every deliverable, whether it's a lay summary, a white paper, research manuscripts, or a patient guide.
I understand what it means to write for multiple audiences at once. Taking complex mechanisms and making them genuinely useful to the person reading them, regardless of their scientific background, is what I do best.
If you need someone who can go deep on the science and still make it land, I'd love to connect.
