Professional Experience
My name is Ahmed Al-Sammarraie, a multimedia storyteller with more than two decades of professional experience behind the camera. I began my career with Reuters as a Cameraman and Satellite Engineer, covering some of the most important events across Baghdad and Beirut. Later, I brought my expertise to CBC Toronto, delivering high-quality visual content and supporting major broadcast operations.
Today, I am a long-time freelance Cameraman/Editor with The Associated Press (AP), trusted to capture real stories with clarity, accuracy, and cinematic detail.
Building on this international experience, I created Panoramic Creative Studio, a professional photography and videography space located on the waterfront in Burlington. My studio is fully equipped for live broadcasts, interviews, podcasts, and high-end production, and I also welcome guests, clients, and on-camera talent directly into the studio for filming.
